Netbeans 6.0 import project problems

I have been using Netbeans for nearly 2 years to develop J2ME applications. I have to say the IDE is fantastic, and I am really satisfied with it’s J2ME support, called Mobility. When I have migrated to NetBeans, the 5.0 version was the current release, and as NetBeans is an open source project, it’s webpage should be checked regularly for new updates. About a year ago, NetBeans 6.0 was presented as the follow-up of the 5.x series. I was really excited: new interface, better mobility support, etc… As soon as the first milestone (M9) was released, I have downloaded and installed it, and of course, I have imported my current project from 5.5.1. And after it, the first disappointment has come: the IDE was very slow on my P4 2.8GHZ PC. No problem, I have examined the features, but as the performance was still slow, I have decided to return to 5.5.1 until a newer release of 6.0 will come. As I have reloaded the project to 5.5.1, all the device configurations have lost. They have changed the project configuration without notice, so the project you import to 6.0 won’t be compatible anymore to 5.5.1… Anyway I have to say, for mobile development use only 5.5.1, because it has all the features you need and of course building the application is really fast.
